This weeks challenge required the use of the color purple. I started this one out using this template:
It can be found here: http://digiscrapdesigns-by-lorie.blogspot.com/
In the end very little of the LO came from the template. Its nice to have a template as a jumping off point, though, when you aren't sure you want to start.
Here is what I came up with for the challenge.
Credits:
Frame - Celebration Flower Scraps Deanna Jones, Jewel Drop Element(Element 39). felt heart, from Dreams of Girls by Moi at Digital-creat.com, Dark Purple paper - Papier 4 Nanine - from Our Fairy Tale by Nanine and Moi at Digital-Creat.com, Favreau Tattered Overlays 2 page 03 from Catscrap.com, purple damask paper - Plum Crazy - Shauna Burke-Smith Pineapple Plantation Designs at Scraporchard.com, Title Font - Milk and Cereal, journaling font - Pea Jessica, Flergs glitters, and AC Chrome
I've started laying out a couple templates. They need a little tweaking and then I'll post them up here. Its been hard getting on the computer to do my digiscrap thing. The whole family has been sick. Kayleigh was the worst with both pneumonia and an ear infection. The rest of us were lucky enough to only to have developed sinus infections.

I love templates
I use them all the time. I decided to try my hand a making a template and came up with this:
here is my LO using my very first template:
credits: Whoville page kit by GingerScraps at Sunshine Studio Scraps
fonts - Freeze, Three Dates, one night, photo corner brush - Bill Silva, Flerg's Glitter styles
Atomic cupcake frayed fabric and chalk drawing, stitch brush - obsidian dawn
word art (used whoville Alpha and these fonts: Freeze, Three Dates, one night) and template - geniaBeana
I also laid my Christmas card design out as a template first. Its a 5x7 card.
and the finished Christmas card turned out so cute:

Still trying to get this blog thing figured out
I'm hoping to get my blog set up correctly. I'll post more later. Hopefully it'll look all nice and pretty like a digiscrapper's blog should.
